The City of Plainfield - Personnel Division is committed to service excellence in Human Resources and Benefits Administration. Personnel (Human Resources) is responsible for administering and communicating sound policies, rules, and practices that treat applicants and employees equally and fairly while maintaining compliance with employment laws, civil service regulations, and collective bargaining agreements.

This is accomplished by creating and implementing fair benefit and compensation initiatives and providing resources to support employee health, safety and wellness, always respecting the confidentiality of our employees.
