Public Notice: Madison Avenue Square Park Grant Application

The Mayor and Council of the City of Plainfield held a public hearing at 7:00 pm on Monday, February 13th, 2023, during the regularly scheduled City Council meeting. The purpose of the hearing was to obtain public comment on a grant application to be submitted to the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection’s Urban Parks and Green Acres Park Development Programs by the City of Plainfield. The application sought funds to install new exercise equipment at Madison Avenue Skate Park, 301-23 W 2nd St, Plainfield, NJ 07060. A virtual meeting took place in the Council Chambers, located at 325 Watchung Avenue, Plainfield, NJ 07060. A brief presentation was made, followed by a question-and-answer period.
