Communications & Media Division

Division Overview
The Division of Communications & Media functions as a bridge between City Hall and the Plainfield community. Working closely with all departments to provide residents and visitors with timely, accurate, and relevant information, the division functions as an intermediary to relay the community's concerns, suggestions, and events back to the administration and the public. The division's responsibilities include internal and external communications, public relations, marketing, media relations, website maintenance, and internal government relations.

Mission
The City of Plainfield's Division of Communications and Media mission is to maintain a meaningful and compelling voice, communicating in a clear, impactful, consistent, and engaging manner constantly, utilizing a multifaceted communication and media pathway.
